WARDROBE
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Controller and Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Wardrobe mobile app (“Wardrobe”, “the app”, “we”) provided by Mahmut Can Sevin. Wardrobe offers digital closet management, outfit planning and AI-assisted style suggestions.
For privacy questions, access requests or objections, contact us at support@wardrobeapp.app. If you live in Turkey, see the Turkish KVKK Information Notice for the notice required by Law No. 6698.
2. Data We Collect
Account and identity
When you create an account we process your email address, your Firebase user ID and technical sign-in details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the account identifier and email address they provide may also be used.
Profile, style and planning information
We may process your name or profile details, gender, height, weight, body type, colour and style preferences, modest-style or hijab preferences, outfit goals, occasion, date and time. We use this to create outfit and product suggestions that suit you.
Photos and images
We may process the photos you choose or take to add closet items, analyse colours, build a style profile from a selfie, or use virtual try-on, makeup and nail try-on. We access the camera and photo library only when you pick a feature that needs them and you grant the device permission.
Location and weather
If you grant location permission, your precise or approximate location may be used to show the forecast, plan daily outfits and create local weather alerts. If you do not grant it, you can enter a city manually.
Birth and astrology details
If you choose the Astro Style feature we may process your birth date, time, UTC offset and birthplace. These fields are optional.
Special categories of data
Your modest-style/hijab preference, whether a headscarf is visible in a photo, and body details such as height, weight, body type and proportions and wrist build may be treated as special-category data under the law where you live. We process them only with your explicit consent and only to personalise your outfits. In makeup try-on, facial landmarks are calculated on your device in real time, are not used to identify you and are not stored on our servers.
Voice input
If you ask Live Designer a question by voice, the microphone and your device’s speech recognition (Apple on iOS, Google on Android) transcribe it. We do not store the recording; the transcribed text is sent to an AI provider to generate an answer.
Community content
In community features we process the outfits, comments and votes you share, and report or block records. Content you share may be shown to other users.
In-app content and technical information
Closet items, categories, colours, tags, outfits you create, favourites, planned outfits, preferences, notification settings and support requests may be processed. App version, operating system, error logs and basic performance data are processed for security and stability.
3. How We Use Data
- Create your account, manage your session and provide app features.
- Organise your closet, classify items and save outfits.
- Create personalised style suggestions from your profile, goals, weather and plans.
- Run the AI analysis, colour analysis, missing-piece suggestions and try-ons you request.
- Send weather-related outfit reminders and in-app notifications.
- Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, debug and improve it, and enforce community rules.
- Answer support requests and meet legal obligations.
4. Permissions
Wardrobe asks for permissions when a feature needs them, not all at once. You can decline; features that need the permission may then be unavailable.
- Camera: take selfies or closet photos.
- Photos and media: upload images you pick from your library.
- Precise and approximate location: weather-based outfit suggestions.
- Microphone and speech recognition: voice questions in Live Designer.
- Notifications: planned outfit and weather alerts.
You can change permissions in your device settings at any time.
5. AI and Third-Party Services
Depending on the feature you choose, some data is processed by the providers below to deliver the service. They process data under their own agreements and privacy policies.
- Google Firebase: authentication, Firestore database, secure server functions, notifications.
- Anthropic (Claude): text and image based style, product, colour, body and hand analysis. Content sent is processed only to provide the requested AI feature.
- Black Forest Labs (FLUX): creating outfit images and studio images of closet items.
- fal.ai: creating outfit images (using your profile photo as a reference if you turn on "Make the model look like me") and processing person and garment images if you use virtual try-on, makeup or nail try-on.
- Cloudflare R2: storing images you upload and images we generate.
- RevenueCat: verifying subscription purchases and managing membership. Payment details are handled by the App Store or Google Play and are not sent to us.
- Firebase Crashlytics: detecting and fixing crashes. Reports may include device information, app version, account ID (not email) and plan.
- WeatherAPI and Open-Meteo: forecasts for your location or chosen city.
- VedAstro: astrological calculation if you use Astro Style.
- Google Shopping: similar-product search results or links to external shops. Activity on an external site is governed by that site’s policy.
Ads (free plan only)
On the free plan we show ads using Google AdMob. Paid plans have no ads. AdMob may process the device advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, advertising ID on Android), IP address, device and app information and ad interactions. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent first for personalised ads. On iOS the advertising ID is used only if you allow “App Tracking”. If you do not, non-personalised ads are shown. For rewarded ads you choose to watch for an extra AI action, your account ID is sent to Google so the reward can be credited. You can reset the advertising ID in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Android Settings → Google → Ads.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your photos, closet, location or profile details (including body, style and birth details) with ad networks for ad targeting.
6. Sharing
We share data only with the providers listed in this policy, with authorities where legally required, or at your explicit request. Community content you publish may be visible to other users.
7. Retention and Deletion
If your account has no activity for 90 days, your Wardrobe account and related data are permanently deleted automatically. Signing in again or using an active session restarts this period.
You can also request deletion at any time. After we verify the request, your account, profile, closet items, outfits and related in-app data are deleted; our goal is to finish within 30 days. Limited data that must be kept for legal obligations, security incidents, fraud prevention or dispute resolution is kept only as long as needed. Data in backups is deleted or anonymised at the end of normal backup cycles.
Use the Account and Data Deletion page. Deletion covers profile, closet, outfit, community and AI usage data. System and security logs rotate automatically within 30 days; app store and payment provider records are subject to their own retention policies.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures such as access controls, authentication, server-side secret management and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely risk-free.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law (including Turkey’s KVKK and, where relevant, the GDPR) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent and request portability of your data. Write to support@wardrobeapp.app. We may need to verify that the account is yours first. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
10. Children’s Privacy
Wardrobe is not directed to children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 should use the app with the knowledge and approval of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child’s data was processed without the required permission, contact us.
11. Legal Bases
We process data to create your account and provide the features you ask for (performance of a contract), for security and abuse prevention (legitimate interests), for legal obligations, and on the basis of your explicit consent. Sharing photos and special-category data with AI providers, using location and notifications, and using the advertising ID rest on your consent.
12. International Transfers
Our AI and infrastructure providers may operate servers outside your country (mainly the United States and Europe). Your data is sent to them only to provide the feature you request and on the basis of your consent. Wardrobe does not use your photos to train its own AI models.
13. Withdrawing Consent
You can withdraw your explicit consent at any time in the app under Profile → Settings → Privacy and Permissions, or by emailing support@wardrobeapp.app. Withdrawal applies going forward and stops features that need the consent. Read the Explicit Consent text.
14. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The current version is published on this page with the update date at the top.
